Product Marketing Manager – Guitar

Job Details

Yamaha employees are passionate about music! As the world’s largest musical instrument manufacturer, we are known for our quality, stellar customer service and innovation. Yamaha has been named a Top 100 Global Innovator for the past three years.

Are you a creative thinker, passionate about music, and have the drive to create results? If so, then check out this opportunity!

The guitar market is a classic paradox story. The electric guitar has been a symbol of creative exuberance driving social change for many decades now, but its conservative design and essential functionality remains rooted in the 1950s. Acoustic instruments tend to be even more reactionary and, today, are not much different than their progenitors from the nineteenth century.

Yamaha has been making quality instruments since the 1960s and has a commanding presence in acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars and recently has begun to grow its share in electric guitar and bass. We are building a market-leading guitar marketing team to ensure that our innovative and acclaimed instrument brand becomes an aspirational one to consumers. We need to do so by telling inspiring stories about our guitars and how playing them can make our customer’s lives richer.
