PLANTRONICS: IN-HOUSE AGENCY APPROACH TO INFLUENCER MARKETING

In this session, Michael Kelly, Senior Influencer Program and Social Media Manager, Plantronics, Inc., will share their approach to influencer marketing and will discuss media related issues such as how ad-blocking, bot-fraud, and the demise of the traditional publishing industry makes influencer marketing such an important tactic for brands to get their messages in front of key audiences. This session will feature some examples of recent campaigns that integrate influencer marketing with paid social campaigns and the role that the in-house agency team plays.

SIX FLAGS AND SAMSUNG: THE NEW REVOLUTION VIRTUAL REALITY ROLLERCOASTER

This spring, Six Flags and Samsung introduced a ground-breaking new ride experience - The New Revolution Virtual Reality Coaster. One of North America's first dedicated Virtual Reality Roller Coasters that gives an experience like never before. In partnership with Samsung Gear VR and Oculus, The New Revolution is equipped with wireless headsets that, while wearing, allow the rider enter a virtual world with high-resolution imagery and 360-degree views that synchronize to the action of the coaster. In this session, Stephanie Borges, Vice President of North America Strategic Marketing & Partnerships, Six Flags Entertainment, will share how this partnership came about and the thrills associated with it.
