ANA Asks CA Governor to Veto AB 1202

September 25, 2019

Yesterday ANA, and several other groups, sent a letter to the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, urging him to veto AB 1202. This bill would require specified businesses to register as data brokers.

The bill, which has an extraordinarily broad definition of “data broker,” must be signed into law no later than October 13, 2019.
