ANA Meeting on California Data Broker Bill

California’s Data Broker Deletion bill (SB 362) would mandate deletion of data by data brokers upon request by a consumer or an authorized third party via a new deletion mechanism to be offered by the California Privacy Protection Agency. This bill, if enacted, would have broad impact on advertisers and marketers in California and across the country, if replicated in other states.

ANA is hosting an urgent call on August 8, 2023 at 2:00 pm EDT / 11:00 am PDT to highlight the significant impact and wide-ranging ramifications of this legislation, and how ANA MSP members should engage with the California legislature to seek improvements to SB 362 that is poised for passage and enactment in the next few weeks.
