The survey results reaffirm the critical importance of LGBTQ+ inclusivity in marketing, with 97 percent of respondents acknowledging that LGBTQ+ inclusive marketing enhances their brand’s perception. III. GENERAL MOTORS: OnStar’s “LOVE PROUDLY” CAMPAIGN (11:40a.m. – 12:15p.m. ET)

Despite decades of LGBTQ+ progress, the current climate of laws, politics and cultural voices continue to threaten the safety and peace of mind of the community every day. With the current political climate, OnStar saw an opportunity to show its members their dedication to being purposeful allies. Focusing on belonging and safety is a big part of acceptance. This insight gave way to “Love Proudly,” authentic stories from LGBTQ+ OnStar Advisors sharing their definition of the word “safety.” OnStar’s Armand Jordan will walk through this award-winning campaign.
