II. AGENCY MEDIA AUDITS

Recently the Media Rating Council formed a working group to begin reviewing the methods and data used by media auditors. The working group will include representatives from all sides of the marketplace -- agencies, advertisers, and media suppliers. In this session, George Ivie, Executive Director and CEO – Media Rating Council, Inc. will share how this working group was formed, what the goals of the group are, how long he believes it will take, and what some outcomes may be.

III. SELLING MARKETING PROCUREMENT INTERNALLY (1:15 – 2:00PM)
The ANA Procurement Task Force released a new white paper, How to Sell the Benefits of Marketing Procurement Internally, during the Advertising Financial Management Conference. In this session, Sal Vitale, Sourcing Manager, Marketing Procurement – Johnson & Johnson, and Co-chair of the ANA Procurement Task Force, will explore the white paper. The white paper is designed to assist with selling the benefits of marketing procurement internally. Procurement professionals new to marketing procurement will find the most value in this guidance, although it may prove helpful to even the most seasoned marketing procurement professional.

IV. ADVERTISING FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: SOURCED TRAFFIC (2:00 – 2:30PM)
In this session, we will explore and discuss sourced traffic and the challenges surrounding its use in digital ad buying. We will also discuss major trends, topics, and current issues members are facing in Advertising Financial Management and which topics we should cover in more depth at future committee meetings.
