I. REVITALIZE AND REPOSITION THE MUSEUM FOR THE FUTURE (10:00 – 11:00AM)
The Field Museum is one of the world's premier natural history museums and home to SUE, the world's largest, most complete Tyrannosaurus rex ever discovered. However, many visitors are not aware that SUE is one of more than 30 million specimens and artifacts in the Museum's world-class collection being used to make scientific discoveries every day. In this session, Stacy Dilling, Marketing & Advertising Director, Jaclyn Johnston, Public Relations & Community Awareness Director, and Brad Dunn, Web & Digital Communications Director at The Field Museum will share their marketing approach and how the Museum is integrating across channels, creating meaningful engagement with the public to drive attendance, and ultimately repositioning itself as a scientific leader.

II. BEST PRACTICES IN SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT AND SHARING  (11:00 – 12:00PM)
The proliferation of social media content, whether produced by brands, celebrities/influencers, or by individual consumers, has created a world of opportunity with very unique challenges for marketers. In this session, Matt Kane (Senior Associate, Reed Smith) will discuss best practices for brands in the sharing and posting of social media content, including hashtags, user-generated content, testimonials and endorsements.

Over lunch, we'll lead a discussion on how to build a high performing marketing team. We encourage you to be prepared to share the pitfalls and best practices you've experienced in your own marketing career as well as what, or who, has helped make a difference.

We'll also discuss any other topics of interest in the integrated marketing realm.
