II.  FUTURE VOICES IN DATA ETHICS: INSIGHTS FROM THE 10TH ANNUAL ISENBERG ETHICS COMPETITION (11:50 am – 12:20 pm)

As data, AI, and advanced targeting capabilities continue to reshape marketing, ethical decision-making has never been more critical. In this special session, winners of the 10th Annual Isenberg Ethics Competition will present their award-winning analysis on one of today’s most pressing ethical challenges in data-driven marketing.

Developed by students from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, the competition challenges future business leaders to evaluate real-world marketing and data governance dilemmas through an ethical, regulatory, and operational lens. During this presentation, the winning teams will share:
• Their analysis of the ethical challenge presented in this year’s competition
• How organizations can balance innovation, consumer trust, and responsible data use
• Recommendations for marketers navigating privacy, AI, and data governance in practice

This session offers a unique opportunity for committee members to hear fresh thinking from emerging talent while reinforcing the industry’s commitment to responsible data stewardship.
