As the streaming wars enter a new stage, the evolution of video continue to accelerate — not just in terms of resolution and distribution, but also in its format, viewing context, and business models. Adam Simon of UM Worldwide joins us to share his thoughts on the various aspects of the dominant ad medium and future value drivers, as well as how brands can better prepare for the future of video.

II. PREVIEW: THE 2022 MARKETING FUTURES TRENDS STUDY (11:50AM - 12:25PM)

ANA Marketing Futures was created to serve as a roadmap to the future of our industry. As we prepare to enter our third year dealing with a global pandemic, Futures is teaming with Demand Metric to gauge where the industry is headed, both in the short- and long-term. This study will look to capture marketer insights and findings into the following:

  • How do marketers feel about the viability of their brands in the long term (five to 10 years)?
  • How are the changes in how we work effecting the marketing process itself?
  • How do marketers feel about automation and AI? Are they excited for the opportunities or worried of being replaced?
  • Which longer-term "on the horizon" trends do marketers expect to disrupt the industry in the next five to 10 years?
