Federal Judge Rules that Google Has Illegal Ad Tech Monopoly

It's the second time in less than a year that the tech giant has been found to violate antitrust laws

A federal judge has ruled Google illegally dominated online advertising technology, saying the tech giant violated the Sherman Act by "willfully acquiring and maintaining monopoly power in the open-web display publisher ad server market and the open-web display ad exchange market." Google said it plans to appeal the decision.
