IBM Study: Companies Are Eager to Scale AI but Face Major Hurdles

Fifty percent of CEOs say rapid investment in artificial intelligence has resulted in disconnected and piecemeal technology at their organization

A study released by IBM this week shows that CEOs are having a tough time monetizing their artificial intelligence (AI) investments, with a little more than a half (52 percent) of CEO respondents saying their organization is realizing value from generative AI investments beyond cost reduction.
