Nielsen report indicates that the demise of traditional broadcast TV may happen sooner than anticipated
Streaming reached a new record in May as its share of total television usage outpaced the combined share of broadcast and cable for the first time ever, according to Nielsen. But while fast diminishing, cable TV still commands more ad dollars than streaming services.
