The Essentials of Public Speaking (Half Day)

How to Sharpen Your Presentation Skills
(Half Day Workshop)

Public speaking strikes fear in the hearts of just about everyone. Yet when marketers of every experience level master this skill, they see career advancement and elevated professional stature.

The best speakers say there’s only one way to gain confidence and poise in front of an audience: practice. Yet practice is more than standing in front of a mirror and reciting your presentation. How do you overcome nerves? How do you know if you’re connecting with your audience? Your image in the mirror isn’t likely to reveal these secrets.

This half-day workshop is about practice of a different kind. In an intense “on stage” setting, you will learn how to let go of inhibitions using the techniques of improvisation to have fun. Improvisational skills build confidence and quick-thinking by teaching you to be a better listener and a better reader of your audience.

Led by a former advertising agency creative director, skilled presenter, and popular ANA workshop leader, this workshop will put you through your speaking paces and give you the opportunity to practice and enhance your skills.
