AARP: INNOVATION CASE STUDY

The AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, social welfare organization with a membership of nearly 38 million that helps people turn their goals and dreams into real possibilities, strengthens communities and fights for the issues that matter most to families — such as health care, employment and income security, and protection from financial abuse. In this session, hear from Kyle Scriven, Director of Social Communications at AARP on how the nonprofit organization is innovating to help engage their constituents.

NASCAR: REVVING UP INTEGRATION AT EVERY TURN

The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) is the sanctioning body for the No. 1 form of motorsports in the United States. Based in Daytona Beach, Fla., with offices in eight cities across North America, NASCAR sanctions more than 1,200 races in more than 30 U.S. states, Canada, Mexico and Europe. COMPACT POWER EQUIPMENT RENTAL: MAKING HEAVY EQUIPMENT MORE ACCESSBILE AND CONVENIENT

Look in the parking lot at more than 1,100 Home Depot locations across the U.S. and Canada, and you'll see Compact Power Equipment Rental’s trenchers, skid steers, and boom lifts available for rent to both DIYers and professional contractors. In this session, Compact Power will join Steve Radick, VP, Director of PR at Brunner to discuss how Compact Power made heavy equipment more accessible to DIYers and more convenient to professional contractors.

West Virginia University Art Museum Tour

Following the conference, there will be an optional tour of the WVU Art Museum. The Art Museum provides a welcoming and stimulating educational environment for diverse audiences to experience the transformative power of visual art.  The museum’s collections include paintings, prints and works on paper, sculpture, ceramics, and folk art. The Art Museum also brings touring exhibits to Morgantown. In conjunction with its various exhibits, the museum presents artist demonstrations, workshops, school programs, lectures, concerts, and theatrical performances that expand upon the exhibit themes and engage a range of multi-generational audiences in active learning across the disciplines.
