The ANA will be partnering with the Chicago Auto Show for a special Influencer Marketing Committee Meeting hosted during the show’s Media Preview Day on Thursday, February 8. The meeting will run from 11:30-1:30pm and culminate with lunch.

II. The Best of 2023 Automotive Influencer Marketing (11:35am-12:00pm CST)
Automakers are continuing to evolve their use of influencers in automotive marketing. This session will take a look back at some of the best activations of the year.

III. Buick's Always-On Approach to Celebrity & Social Influencers (12:00pm-12:35pm CST)
Big things are happening at Buick – as 2023’s fastest growing mainstream auto brand, the Buick team is evolving the brand expression throughout all  marketing content. As this comes to life in the social media space, the role of influencers becomes increasingly important as the brand seeks to connect with new audiences and create engaging content to reinforce a premium positioning. Buick’s Sam Gentry will provide an overview of the brand’s approach to influencer marketing across different levels of the marketing funnel, from brand-level campaigns, to the launch of the all-new Buick Envista.

IV. Building Influence: Caterpillar's Influencer Marketing Blueprint (12:35pm-1:10pm CST)
Caterpillar Inc. is the world's leading manufacturer of construction, mining, and engineering equipment— a sector not often associated with influencer marketing. In this session, learn how Caterpillar navigates challenges unique to the heavy equipment industry, using influencer marketing as a powerful tool to connect with both B2B and B2C audiences. You’ll also gain actionable insights and hear real-world examples from Caterpillar's latest creative influencer marketing campaigns.

At Caterpillar, she’s responsible for social media strategy for Construction and Agriculture industries, telling the stories of how farmers, landscapers, and contractors are building a better world for all of us.

V. Presentation of the 2024 Driving Influence Award (1:10pm-1:25pm CST) 
The 2024 Driving Influence Award will recognize one outstanding auto manufacturer harnessing the power of influencer marketing to creatively engage consumers. 2024 marks the fifth year of the Award partnership between the ANA and the Chicago Auto Show and this year’s Award will highlight campaigns reaching women, BIPOC and LGBTQ audiences. Through January 24, 2024 automotive manufacturers, PR firms, and marketing agencies are encouraged to submit relevant campaigns executed between the window of January 1 - December 31, 2023.
