IV. TRUTH INITIATIVE: QUITTERS (10:25 – 11:00a.m. ET)
Truth Initiative is a nonprofit tobacco control organization dedicated to achieving a culture where all youth and young adults reject tobacco. After years of fighting against cigarette use, Truth took aim at a new enemy, the vape. To help young people see a way out of vaping, the in-house team at Truth created “Quitters,” a powerful video series providing authentic, unfiltered portrayals of young people quitting and the positive impact it has had on their mental health. The result is a 2-time category winner at the 2023 ANA In-House Excellence Awards.
