Emma Chiu leads Wunderman Thompson Intelligence, the agency's in-house futures and innovation think-tank. Her mission is to understand how the world is and is not changing to best advise organizations on how to transform for the future.

She consults with clients to build long-term strategies based on qualitative and quantitative insight that incorporates cultural and behavioral change, sector innovation and zeitgeist shifts. Clients include Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Unilever, Samsung and Dell.

Emma is passionate about advocating for the next generation of creatives. She is part of the advisory network for OK Mentor and is a 2022 ambassador for Women in Innovation (WIN). She is also a member of the Effie Awards, Creative Review Awards and Adobe Artist Awards judging panel in 2023. In addition, Emma regularly speaks at international conferences including CES, SXSW and the National Retail Forum.

In the inaugural "Futures Firesides," a new interview series where we explore the future of technology and its impact on different industries, we welcome Katrin Ribant, a seasoned entrepreneur and angel investor with an expertise in digital marketing and technology. In our conversation, we will delve into the world of AI language generation and its potential to transform the way brands communicate with their customers. We'll also discuss whether AI will eventually replace human marketers and explore the nuances of how AI and human marketers can work together to create a winning marketing strategy.
