II. Understanding the US Chinese Consumers Digital Habits (11:55am - 12:50pm ET) | VIRTUAL
With more than 2.3 million users in the US Chinese consumers have unique cultural preferences, speak different languages, and often have digital and shopping habits that are distinct from the general population. While many ethnic communities index higher on using platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp, others feel more comfort and connection to their native channels including WeChat, Weibo and Little Red Book. Understanding their digital habits, knowing when to engage them in language vs. in culture, and skillfully using digital media and KOLs (influencers) they are receptive to are the keys to cracking a market opportunity that's in the hundreds of billions of dollars globally and growing everyday.

Speaker: Tonia Au, AVP, Media & PR - Ethnicity Matters
