I. EMERGING VIDEO LANDSCAPE (9:15 – 10:45AM)
In this session, we will review and discuss the current emerging video landscape and will especially highlight the OTT players to understand the current visibility. We will also facilitate an interactive working session to highlight the key areas within video that the ANA Media Leadership Committee would like to tackle as an industry body to lead future proof measures both short and long term around topics such as: visibility, frequency management, and third party verification/measurement.

II. TALENT (1:00 – 2:30PM)
In many instances, the current media talent pool on both the client and agency side is not as strong as it used to be. This is especially the case for entry and mid-level talent. Additional issues include:

  • How can we better position the media industry to attract top entry and mid-level candidates?
  • What should the career path be for in-house vs. external agencies?
  • How can we ensure sufficient diversity in the media industry?

In this interactive session we will:

  • Hear from the ANA Educational Foundation (AEF) who will provide an overview on how they are addressing talent from an overall marketing industry perspective. The AEF will also share their industry program to "market marketing" to the next generation of students to attract diverse, engaged and creative minds to this dynamic and innovative industry.
  • Learn from a top media agency HR/talent executive on the talent issues the media agency side is facing and how they are working to tackle those issues.
  • Have a working session to pinpoint the key areas within talent that the ANA Media Leadership Committee would like to take on as an industry and identify clear action steps.
