I. SCHWAB: FORGING INTERNAL PARTNERSHIPS (10:00 - 11:00AM)
Marketing procurement can't do it all by themselves, oftentimes you need to work with other departments to get the job done. In this session, Tracy Avelar, managing director, vendor and sourcing management at Charles Schwab & Company, Inc., will share the tactics her team uses to build relationships internally with their cross functional business partners in marketing, legal, and risk management to take the pain out of contracting and drive efficiencies in their process. Overall, making working with sourcing less bureaucratic and faster, and allows their team to demonstrate the value they can drive for the firm.

II. IMPROVING RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN AGENCIES AND STAKEHOLDERS (11:15AM – 12:15PM)
In this session, Jose Molina, marketing procurement manager at Constellation Wines U.S., will share their new evaluation process for agencies. Constellation Wines wanted to establish a standardized and collaborative feedback process with their key agency partners (or vendors). They've recently deployed an scorecard evaluation system, which is strengthening working relationships, optimizing work output, driving efficiencies, and maximizing value.

III. GOOGLE: BUILDING SUPPORT STRUCTURES (1:15 – 2:00PM)

In this roundtable discussion, we'll continue the conversation about relationships: agency and client; internal; others; what works, what can be done to improve the relationships, strategies to implement when the relationship becomes rocky, and how to better work together. Come with your thoughts and feedback on your relationships.
