WELCOME/INTRODUCTIONS (9:45 – 10:00AM)

I. FIRESTARTER SESSION: FINANCIAL AUDIT PROCESS  (10:00 – 10:45AM)
In this roundtable discussion and panel, members of the ANA Advertising Financial Management Committee, will discuss how best to conduct a financial audit process of their agency and what they typically find. They'll share their experiences with what agency compensation model works best (and worst) depending on the agency relationship and structure. They'll also discuss how agency compensation has evolved at their respective companies.

Panelists:
Anita Chung
, Category Manager - Salesforce
TBA (If you're interested on serving on this panel, please email Greg Wright).

Moderator:
Greg Wright, Senior Director, Conferences and Committees – ANA

II. HAVING CANDID CONVERSATIONS WITH YOUR AGENCY ABOUT COMPENSATION (11:00 AM – 12:00 PM)
Marketing and advertising communicators are in a creative business, and the "business" side of what we do is often hard to talk about — especially when it comes to money. Maybe if we took a nontraditional approach in talking about money, we'd find our daily work a little easier and much more successful. Independent agency Eleven has been successful with some big brands by believing that financial conversations should be natural and productive instead of awkward and defensive. Hear how Eleven healthily hashes out financial relationships and the importance of transparency and humanity when it comes to the difficult conversations.

Speaker:
Dodie Martz, Associate Partner, Director of Revenue and Operations - Eleven Inc.
