Executive Summary

Many marketers are rightfully confused by the maze of federal and state regulations around cannabis and CBD (cannabidiol, a component of the cannabis plant typically sold as CBD oil — and also increasingly infused in various products advertised to consumers). Cori Goldberg and Jillian Petrera of Reed Smith LLP provided a regulatory, enforcement, and litigation update on where things stand in this rapidly developing industry.
