KEEPING IT QUEER: CONNECTING WITH CLARITY AND PURPOSE IN LGBTQ+ MARKETING

Connecting authentically with queer youth in any creative efforts can be tough. They’re an increasingly diverse segment that face a growing wave of isolation and marginalization, at home, at school, and in the wider culture. Any efforts to speak to them need to cut through that and stay rooted in a genuine understanding of their situation and what their needs are. It Gets Better and Orci partnered together on an initiative that not only saw and heard what queer youth were really going through, but gave them a lifeline, a resource to open dialogue and their own empowerment towards potential positive change in their lives. Find out how they developed and successfully launched their Perfectly Queer conversation game in this session led by Brian Wenke, Executive Director at It Gets Better, and Diego Andrade, SVP Executive Creative Director at Orci.
