The Expectation Gap: Marketers, consumers, and AI in a time of rapid change, hosted by DePaul University

Join the ANA Educational Foundation (AEF) and the Public Relations and Advertising Program in the College of Communication at DePaul University for a one-day conference focused on the evolving relationship between marketers and consumers in a rapidly changing, AI-shaped landscape. This year’s theme, The Expectation Gap: Marketers, consumers, and AI in a time of rapid change, explores how new technologies are reshaping what brands can do and what audiences now expect, from personalization and creative automation to transparency, trust, authenticity, privacy, and value. The conference will examine where marketer goals and consumer expectations align (or diverge), and what these shifts mean for advertising strategy, ethical decision-making, and long-term brand building.
