11:30 a.m.–12:20 p.m.: MISSING THE MODERN MAN IN ADS? HOW TO EVOLVE MALE & FEMALE INTERACTIONS TO DRIVE CREATIVE IMPACT:Did you know that accurate portrayals in advertising can drive a 9X sales lift with Gen Z? Want to future-proof your brand and ensure you resonate with the next generation of consumers? If so, using outdated stereotypes and tropes in advertising portrayals won’t work. Today’s consumers have already moved on, and Gen Alpha and Gen Z have raised the bar even higher for the authenticity and influence they expect and receive from brands. By reflecting women and men more authentically, brands gain trust, loyalty and sales increases with consumers…especially younger consumers who demand authenticity. In this workshop, we’ll challenge outdated portrayals of women in advertising by rethinking how women are represented alongside men, ways of portraying men that will resonate with consumers and elevate the perceptions of both the male and female presentations.
