The New SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract

Negotiations on the new SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract and SAG-AFTRA Audio Commercials Contract concluded on April 5 and the contract was approved by the Union board April 9. The deal is now out for ratification by SAG-AFTRA members.

This year brings historic changes to the contract that will make union production less expensive, more predictable, and simpler. Stacy Marcus, Chief Negotiator for the JPC, will provide a breakdown of the key terms you need to be aware of going into the new 3-year deal.  The contracts are valued at $1 billion in annual advertiser spend -- $3 billion over the 3-year term of the contracts.
