Beyond Profit Podcast: A Discussion with Author Joe Jaffe

November 27, 2019

Is the corporation as we know it going the way of the Dodo bird? It’s quite possible, given the shortening lifespan of corporations, the inability of many Fortune 500 companies to grow revenues, and the cry for brands to have a higher purpose than profits. In his new book Built to Suck, Joe Jaffe argues that the entire business model is seriously flawed, and unless companies embrace digital disruption, talent resurrection, customer obsession, and corporate citizenship, they are doomed to fade into obsolescence.

Beyond Profit, a podcast of the ANA Center for Brand Purpose, Jaffe explains why corporations are suffering from serious suckage, what they can do to move from survival to thrival, and the importance of having a higher meaning than making profits.
