Gary A. Kibel is a partner in the Digital Media, Technology & Privacy; Intellectual Property and Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Practice Groups of Davis & Gilbert.  Mr. Kibel regularly counsels clients with respect to new media/advertising law; privacy and data security; and information technology matters.

Mr. Kibel advises interactive companies, advertising agencies, media providers and other commercial entities regarding transactions for interactive advertising, behavioral advertising, social media, programmatic media buying, mobile marketing, affiliate marketing, data collection and usage, and other emerging products and services. He also serves as General Counsel to the Performance Marketing Association.

Paavana L. Kumar is an associate in the Advertising, Marketing & Promotions; Entertainment, Media & Sports; Intellectual Property; and Digital Media, Technology & Privacy Practice Groups of Davis & Gilbert. Ms. Kumar represents advertising agencies, media companies, and advertisers in various aspects of advertising, marketing and entertainment, including reviewing advertising copy, drafting talent releases and contracts, advising on the use of social media in advertising, counseling clients in connection with copyright and trademark matters, and drafting a variety of intellectual property agreements and licenses.

While in law school, Ms. Kumar served on the Columbia Journal of Law & the Arts, and coached the Columbia Vis International Arbitration Moot Court Team, competing in The Hague and Vienna. In 2012, she was presented with a speaking award for her oral arguments in Vienna.

Rohini C. Gokhale is an associate in the Advertising, Marketing & Promotions Group of Davis & Gilbert. She represents advertising agencies, media companies, and advertisers in connection with various aspects of advertising, promotions and marketing. Her practice includes reviewing advertising copy, drafting agreements, and advising on designing sweepstakes and skill contest promotions.

Ms. Gokhale works closely with clients on matters relating to food and drug marketing, with an emphasis on pharmaceuticals, food and beverage products, dietary supplements and cosmetics. She counsels clients on issues regarding ingredients and additives, labeling, claims and claim substantiation, and helps navigate the complex regulatory requirements of the Food and Drug Administration, Federal Trade Commission and Consumer Product Safety Commission. Ms. Gokhale also advises clients on matters related to consumer products, focusing on manufacturing, labeling and compliance issues, with a concentration on children’s toys and products.

Devin A. Kothari is an associate in the Advertising, Marketing & Promotions; Intellectual Property; Digital Media, Technology & Privacy and Litigation Practice Groups of Davis & Gilbert.

Mr. Kothari represents advertising agencies, public relations companies, media companies, brands, advertisers, technology companies and start-ups in all areas of advertising, marketing and promotions law, as well as on intellectual property and technology issues. Mr. Kothari’s practice includes drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements, including intellectual property and technology licenses; R&D, IT, software development, beta product and SaaS contracts; programmatic advertising and data agreements; website terms of use and privacy policies; and talent, sponsorship and agency-client agreements. Mr. Kothari commonly advises on the patent and technology components of intellectual property-focused mergers, acquisitions, IPOs and joint ventures.
