Addressability has been moving strongly into what was traditional linear media, enabling enhanced targeting and greater ad spend efficiency.  Privacy and other business imperatives can create challenges in this movement.  This webinar, led by George Ivie the executive director of the Media Rating Council, will provide an overview of the present addressability landscape and how that is evolving under new regulatory and business requirements, and most importantly where advertisers can still gain ground in bringing greater efficiency to advertising investments.

George is the Executive Director and CEO of the Media Rating Council, Inc. (MRC), a not-for-profit industry organization created in 1963 at the request of the U.S. Congress to assure high ethical and operational standards in measurement services.  Mr. Ivie’s background includes over 35 years of experience in media research auditing, oversight and consulting.  Prior to being appointed the Executive Director of the MRC in January 2000, George was a partner at EY and their lead representative and advisor to the MRC, conducting all MRC audits and interacting with MRC management and member organizations.  George has a thorough knowledge of research best practices, operations, controls and information systems across all types of measurement services in the supply chain for today’s media.
