How Marketers Can Penetrate the C-Suite (B2B Marketing Series)

This event is over.

Marketers continue to have a tough time aligning with the C-suite and boosting their overall value throughout the organization. Part of the challenge is that most C-suite executives have limited marketing experience and little exposure to what marketers do on a day-to-day basis. With brand reputation moving to the core, marketers have an opportunity to change the equation and enhance their visibility.

However, the onus is on marketers to take the initiative. Jonathan Copulsky, senior lecturer of marketing and executive director of the Spiegel Research Center at Northwestern’s Medill School of Journalism, Media, Integrated Marketing Communications, shares some key insights and tangible advice with ANA members for how Marketers engage the C-suite and cultivate relationships with the CEO, CFO, et al.

Copulsky, a former CMO at Deloitte, will be joined by the ANA’s Matthew Schwartz, editor of B2B Marketer, to discuss how to build trust with the C-suite and ways to communicate the growing importance of marketing communications in an extremely fluid business environment.

In this webinar, marketers will learn how to:

  • Get their priorities clear, assess capabilities relative to these priorities, and conduct frank conversations with their CEO about targets, gaps, and current performance.
  • How to demystify marketing for the C-suite and clarify marketing’s role in making the organization successful.
  • Play a lead role in communicating to the C-suite the benefits of digital transformation.
