I. FIRESTARTER SESSION: PRODUCTION PROCESSES, TRACKING & TOOLS (10:00 – 10:50AM)
One of the benefits of ANA Committees is the ability to share and learn from your fellow marketers in a “closed door” environment, leveraging knowledge and insights from peers that can be applied to your own business. In this session, we’ll discuss production topics, trends, and industry initiatives including those below and any others you’d like to explore:

  • Product Samples for production use (management/oversight, ordering, tracking, etc.)
  • Digital Asset Management
  • Project Data Tracking

Facilitators:
Brendan O'Malley, Sr. Manager, Broadcast Production – Verizon, and ANA Production Management Committee Co-Chair
Kristin Schaack, Sr. Manager, Creative Producer – Target, and ANA Production Management Committee Co-Chair
Pamela Gross, Senior Manager – ANA

II. AGENCY PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT OUTSOURCING: EFFICIENCIES AND SAVINGS FOR BRANDS AND SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZE AD AGENCIES (11:10AM – 12:00PM)
More and more in house brand agencies and small to medium size ad agencies are realizing that because of fluctuation in the amount of production, it is no longer necessary and cost efficient to have an in house production department. It is more cost effective to engage independent companies to do production all the way through clearance and traffic. These outsourced production companies are at any given time Producers, Business Managers, Project Managers, Talent Managers, Traffic Managers and Network Managers. These companies are multi-faceted and can manage multiple production roles at the same time for the life of the project. Basically more skills + fewer individual hires = Budget Savings for everyone.

Speakers:

III. PEOPLE POWERED VIDEO PRODUCTION (1:00 – 1:50PM)
People Powered video production is being adopted by many brands, big and small alike, as a means to consistently create locally relevant video content, at scale, for less money, without sacrificing quality. New age production platforms connect innovative brands with a bespoke creative community of filmmakers to meet a growing demand for video content while maintaining quality. In this session, learn how the people powered production process works, and how it's working to help better connect brands with their consumers. We'll share a case study of a 2019 campaign that excelled with this challenge, and also discuss tips, best practices, and watch outs that brands should be aware of.

Speakers:
Lee Margolis, Executive Creative Director - MOFILM
Matt Rakow, Head of Strategic Accounts - MOFILM
