Navigating the world of analytics can be challenging. With data deprecation, organizational silos, and disparate methodologies, brands are facing more hurdles than ever before in their path to data-driven decision-making. Join Marc Vermut, VP of The Knowledge Lab at Neustar, who will present their Marketing Analytics Maturity Framework, and learn how you can build your own roadmap to analytics excellence.

II. Advancing Global Trade With Blockchain (11:50 AM -12:30 PM)

Digitization of trade involves a complex set of stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions and sectors, ranging from governments and regulators to industry leaders. Further, organizations are interested in blockchain for more than outright profitability. As networks, rather than individual organizations, become the unit of competition, metrics expand beyond the balance sheet. To succeed in the global marketplace enabled by blockchain, organizations need to understand when to share data— and when not to. And for global marketplaces to gain widespread participation, they’ll need trusted, neutral governance. Doing business globally requires trust, an abundance of it. The good news: blockchain actually becomes that custodian of trust, no intermediaries required. This neutral entity can help drive fair, open governance and standards—a critical foundation to unleashing the value from blockchain[1]driven marketplaces in global trade.

This session, based on a report issued by the IBM Institute for Business Value, will discuss: Modernizing and harmonizing rules to create a scalable business environment; Introducing interoperable standards to connect digital platforms and technologies; and Supporting industry to modernize digital systems and processes.

Speaker:
Veena S Pureswaran, Global Research Leader, Quantum Computing and Emerging Technologies, IBM Institute for Business Value
