ANA Announces Finalists for 2014 Multicultural Excellence Awards

Two new categories added to competition

NEW YORK (Oct. 1, 2014) – Twenty five companies have been selected as finalists, across 10 categories, in the ANA’s (Association of National Advertisers) 2014 Multicultural Excellence Awards. The award program recognizes marketers that produced industry leading multicultural advertising campaigns between June 2013 and June 2014. 

Grand prize winners in each category will be announced at a ceremony during the ANA’s 16th Annual Multicultural Marketing and Diversity Conference, November 9-11 in Miami, Fla.

This year marks the inauguration of two new categories highlighting exceptional work in people with disabilities and total market advertising. The brand and agency finalists in each of the ten categories are:

Sponsored by the ANA Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Committee, the awards were created to help raise awareness and recognition for the outstanding work being done in the areas of African-American, Asian, Hispanic and LGBT advertising. A portion of the proceeds collected will help fund scholarships for high-potential multicultural students who plan to pursue careers in advertising and/or marketing.
