That's according to Peter Prodromou, founder and president of marketing and PR agency Boathouse, whose clients include Mass General Brigham, Project Liberty, and Eversource.

Prodromou predicts that within the next year or two there will be a counterbalance away from pure use of data and analytics as the key measurement tools for marketers and toward metrics like stellar writing, the ability to access top media, and the ability to strategize and deliver killer ad creative.

Prodromou joined host Matthew Schwartz to delve into the promise (and peril) of generative AI, why brand managers need to improve their storytelling chops, and why marketers should get into the field more often and shed their long-held belief that marketing should emanate from the inside out.
