We are excited to announce the winners of the 2021 ANA Email Experience Council’s Email Program Awards. This set of awards seeks to promote excellence in email marketing by showcasing the impact that email is having in the marketplace and within organizations, how it can assist in achieving larger organizational goals while also demonstrating innovative thinking, and, most importantly, these awards feature email campaigns, programs, and people that make us excited and proud of the work being done in our industry.

We’re proud to announce the following 2021 EEC Program Award Winners.

“One-Person Team” Award Winner: Hailey Pettit

“I am incredibly honored to be recognized by the ANA Email Experience Council and as part of the email marketing community. There have been many constraints on all of us due to COVID and the underlying climate. However, these constraints have led to opportunities for brands to meet consumers where they are with empathy and compassion. When done right, email allows you to do just that and we saw the positive impact it had on our KPIs when we leaned in. It motivates me and makes me proud to be a part of this industry and seeing talented marketers utilizing email to make a difference in a challenging time.”

Hailey Pettit is the sole driver of email at Nurx, and she has improved nearly every metric that matters to the company, from CPA and CAC to increases in service requests through the channel. Hailey's efforts cover revenue generation and cost savings, showing a broad spectrum of the power of email. As Nurx's CMO shared, Hailey can definitely "teach us all how to be better."

Finalist: Emily McLeod, public affairs specialist at NASA

Cross-Channel Award Winner: McDonald’s Famous Orders

McDonald's Famous Orders campaign delivered an engaging and exciting experience with a major wow factor! The campaign's goals were to drive digital adoption as well as increase guest count during a global pandemic that challenged the industry. This was accomplished through a truly cross-channel campaign that leveraged email, push, dotcom, and app, and created a powerful digital first experience. As a result, the campaign beat all targeted goals; increasing new customers, retaining existing customers at a higher than expected rate, and reducing the number of lapsed customers. McDonald's hit their app registration goal in a record 3 days and the associated email campaign delivered the second highest impact to incremental revenue in 2020. Famous Orders was both buzzworthy and effective, making it the winner for the Cross-Channel category.
