Beyond Profit Podcast: A Discussion with Standard Textile’s Judy Sroufe

August 3, 2020

For nearly 80 years, Standard Textile has revolutionized the textile experience, earning more than 80 patents for products designed to deliver longevity, durability, and value. Standard Textile’s purpose — to inspire care, comfort, and change in the communities it serves — is as true today as it was in 1940, when the company was founded by Charles Heiman, an immigrant from Germany who had escaped from the Dachau concentration camp.

In this episode of Beyond Profit, a podcast of the ANA Center for Brand Purpose, host Ken Beaulieu sits down with Judy Sroufe, VP of brand marketing and communications at Standard Textile, to discuss how the company defined its purpose, gained internal consensus for it, and the lessons learned along the way.
