Angel Aloma
EVP & Chief Marketing Officer | Food for the Poor

Angel A. Aloma, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, oversees communications and all marketing channels for the organization, while encouraging innovation and cultivating donor relationships. Fluent in Spanish, proficient in Creole and Patois, Angel shares the charity’s mission throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

In his 21 years as a teacher at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Angel led numerous mission trips with his students to Caribbean countries. He is specially attuned to the plight of the poor in our hemisphere and frequently visits those areas accompanied by donors, employees and community and church leaders interested in the mission.

Angel was born in Santiago, Cuba, where he completed his primary education with the Jesuits. Reared primarily in Jamaica, he continued his Jesuit education there. He is a graduate of the University of Windsor, Canada, and received his Master of Science Degree from Nova Southeastern University. Angel lives in South Florida with his wife, and has three children and nine grandchildren.


Evelyn Homs Medero
Senior Vice President, Multicultural Marketing and Business Development | St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC

Evelyn Homs Medero is the Senior Vice President of Multicultural Marketing and Business Development at ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She has more than 20 years of professional experience in the multicultural marketing and business development industry.

At ALSAC, Evelyn champions collaboration between ALSAC divisions to execute fully integrated multicultural insights and total market strategies to increase St. Jude brand awareness and generate donations from multicultural audiences. Working throughout the enterprise, she primarily focuses her efforts on growing the Hispanic, African-American and Asian-American programs at ALSAC, which generate more than more than $250 million each year to help St. Jude find cures for childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Evelyn currently leads one of ALSAC’s top strategic initiatives and is responsible for building a comprehensive integration of strategies to maintain St. Jude’s leadership position in multicultural philanthropic development.
Prior to ALSAC, Evelyn managed the U.S. Hispanic Marketing Communications department at Star Media Network, Inc., the first pan-regional internet portal for Spanish-and Portuguese-speaking audiences in New York and Miami.

Evelyn graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication and a concentration in Advertising and received an Executive Master of Business Administration from The University of Memphis.


Stacie de Armas
Senior Vice President, Inclusive Insights and Initiatives | Nielsen

Stacie M. de Armas is Senior Vice President Inclusive Insights & Initiatives and a Leader within Nielsen’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion practice. She is a researcher, consumer behaviorist, thought leader and subject matter expert on the diverse communities. Stacie is responsible for activating new platforms and research initiatives that allow for a detailed analysis of advertising and media on multiple diverse dimensions.

She joined Nielsen in 1998 and has served in many roles related to multicultural marketing, but diverse market intelligence is her passion.

Stacie sits on the Cultural Marketing Council Board of Directors as well as Google’s 21st Century Multicultural Marketing Council and has been the recipient of industry honors for her work in diversity marketing including most recently being named among Imagen Foundations most powerful and influential Latinos in entertainment for 2019.

Stacie is an adjunct professor of qualitative research at California State University Los Angeles and California State University Northridge. She received her Masters degree in Business Administration with a focus on marketing from Texas A & M. Stacie is first generation Cubana and lives in Los Angeles with her two children.


Ivan Leon
Founder & Chief Strategist | Kerux Group Inc.

Ivan Leon is an accomplished cross-cultural marketing strategist. He is credited with making GodTube.com and Logos Bible Software irresistible among Latinos. Through his leadership, GodTube gained a half million Spanish registered users in its first year and Logos online sales grew 400 hundred percent during his five-year tenure.

Drawing from this wealth of experience that spans over two decades, he founded Kerux Group, an agency that partners with nonprofits to effectively attract and engage the Hispanic population, the largest and most influential minority in the United States, currently standing at 58 million. As the Chief Strategist, he leads a seasoned team of content creators and campaign activators that come alongside cause driven organizations to help them speak and move the heart of Hispanics.
